Dec 2011 Church Thanksgiving and Year-end Fellowship

The church capped the year 2011 with a Thanksgiving Fellowship in Bacong, a town away from Dumaguete.  We rented for a day a beautiful beachfront property.

That house is where we slept for the night.

The afternoon was spent reviewing what the Lord has done for us throughout the whole year and entrusting to God the coming year.  Indeed, it is good to give thanks unto the Lord.  His mercy endureth forever.

2nd Bible Baptist Church Camp

This is the banner for the 2nd Church Camp.  The theme, "Strengthening our Foundation," was agreed upon by the organizing pastors as the most timely message for the day.  The camp speaker is Pastor Travis Lewis, an American missionary working in Cebu.

We are grateful for our Cebuano-speaking pastor.  Thank God for American missionaries who take pains to learn our language so that they can be more effective preachers and teachers.

He also sang for us.  Turns out he is the songleader in his home church and is also a soloist.  What a blessing.
